Q. Are any of your models for sale?
A. No, I have no intention to sell any of my Julips.
Q. What can I do to protect my Originals?
A. As you may already know, Julip Originals can become easily damaged if not cared for properly. It is best to avoid extremes of temperature,
and so Julip Originals should be kept somewhere fairly cool. Rugs can help limit light-damage on the paint, although models should be kept out of sunlight anyway.
Q. What are some of the features of old Originals that aren't seen now?
A. In the '70s and '80s, Julips were given letters in their mouths, which allow us to date them. Many had painted on silver horse-shoes, and the hair used to be made of mohair, rather than the synthetic hair used today.
Q. I want to order a Julip painted to look like my real pony, how would I go about this?
A. I do not work for Julip, and they do not always take special orders like this. The best thing to do is to phone Julip to discuss it with them.
Q. What type of paint do you use for your customs?
A. I usually paint with acrylic paints and brushes- I don't own an airbrush.

Q. I am looking to buy a HOTY model that is no longer produced, where is the best place to find it?
A. eBay would probably be the best place, there are usually some HOTY auctions on there, although you may have to wait a while for the particular model you are after to come up for sale. Some of my models were bought on eBay, others were purchased privately.
