Hi, and welcome to my Julip blog :-) If you're looking for my personal blog, my Livejournal is staying the same- this is simply for my Julipy updates.

I've had quite a few new Julip arrivals recently. Back in March I ordered a portrait model of a real pony I know, and the Julip version of Cody arrived recently. I've also had some new arrivals over Christmas- earlier this month I went to Olympia and met up with fellow collector Jen at the Julip stall. By the time I got there the Julips had all sold out, but Mum had arranged to buy Tinkerbell beforehand and I was given her at the show, which was a lovely surprise. I also had a lovely present from Jen whilst I was there, a Julip foal that she had ordered specially for me. I also had three lovely Julips to open on Christmas morning, and you will be able to meet these on the Originals section of my website when I've updated it!

So sorry for the lack of updates in the last few months! I had exams back in June, and started a new job in May so that's kept me very busy! I did some updating on the site last night though, and have added quite a lot of Originals, a lot of which have arrived quite recently. The most recent arrival is a very cute black Child's Hunter called Rupert, who arrived this morning. He's had some minor repairs done already and seems to be settling in nicely.
In other Julip news, I attended the first Julip live show last month. There were quite a few other collectors there, including Annabel from Julip! I hadn't met her before so it was nice to see her, and she brought along some of her old Julips for us to look at. I also collected a couple of new ponies from the show- Blackjack, a shetland who I'd bought from Sarah, and Weebl, a Pony Pony who I'd ordered from Julip. You can read more about these two in the Originals pages.

Still waiting for various Julips to arrive, but nothing new to update on really. I have purchased an appaloosa Family Horse tonight though- yay :-)

I have some new kittens on my Julip yard :-)

They aren't Julip cats- these came in a bag of stuff I bought at the car boot (I don't just collect Julips, I collect other toys too), and I thought they were ideal for my Julip yard. Originally they were all the same colour, so I've painted them all to look different. I thought they were rather cute :-)
The horse on the left doesn't have a name yet, the dun on the right is Whiskey.

I also placed another Julip order last night- yay :-)

Sorry about the lack of updates to both the site and this blog, folks! I've been adding to the Archive every few days, though- thank you so much for all of your contributions, please keep them coming! As of last night I have some Julips on-the-way- nothing too exciting, but I've finally ordered the two HOTYs I needed, along with a couple of other things. Five (possibly six) Julips on the way is a good thing :-)

I've just added a basic set of twelve 100x100 icons to the downloads page. Feel free to use them :-)

I finished two customs tonight, and still have another couple that I'm working on. Tonight I completed a dun pony and a chestnut cob. I don't have a photo of the pony yet- the ones I took came out awful because of the flash, I need to try and get some in daylight, I think. Here is the new cob though- the one on the right is the new one, the one on the left was finished a couple of weeks ago. Both are still nameless though, lol, but looks like the new guy has found himself a girlfriend ;-)

I'll add the photo to the customs page soon, I just need to take a photo of the dun first.
Thank you all for the nice comments about the site- I'm glad people seem to like it :-) My apologies for it timing-out all of the time, once it's been up a while it should be better, as there won't be all of you trying to look at the same time.

I've just added this blog to the site :-)
J-Club is still down, so I can't advertise the new site there, but a few people have now seen the new version, lol.
Thanks, PP, for the message about the Archive :-D

Julips Online went back online tonight! :-D It had only been down for two weeks, maybe not even that- I'm surprised with myself that I got it up again that quickly, lol. You'll probably find loads of problems with it, so please let me know if some of it isn't working- lots of late-nights spent staring at HTML = errors, I expect ;-)
I've been having problems with my computer, so whilst waiting for some program to run last night I continued working on a couple of customs. There are four half-finished models sat on my bedroom floor at the moment (oh yes, what a practical place to work!), so I ought to get on with them really.
I had another Julip-arrival last night. Only a bad-condition chestnut plastic Arab Champion that I bought as a body. No idea what colour he'll end up though- I only have white mohair at the moment, and never seem to get round to ordering any more (black would be very useful, lol), so am kinda limited as to what colours I can do :-/ Any suggestions? :-S (and yes, that is 89 Julips now- eep)
